Mental Health in the Era of COVID-19

Join our keynote speaker, Jonathan S. Comer (Florida International University), the renowned best-selling co-author of Abnormal Psychology and Fundamentals of Abnormal Psychology, as he reviews the rapidly growing body of research on how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the state of mental health and its treatment.


Jonathan S. Comer is a professor of psychology at Florida International University, where he also directs the Mental Health Interventions and Technology (MINT) Program. The author of over 200 scientific papers and chapters, he has received career awards from the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies for his research on innovative treatment methods, childhood anxiety and disruptive behavior problems, and the impact of traumatic stress, disasters, terrorism, and public health crises on children.

The health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, and staff is at the top of mind. We encourage personal safety and strongly recommend that attendees either be vaccinated or present a negative COVID test at registration. We also encourage attendees to wear masks. We will continue to monitor the level of community spread, and may make adjustments based on those numbers.
