Welcome TCCTA Campus Representatives!

We truly appreciate all you do and we’re glad to be working with you!

Use this page as an easy, convenient resource to help you recruit TCCTA members on your campus. The documents are easy to print and duplicate or simply link to an email for use whenever you need them.

Remember, you’re the face and voice of the association on your campus! These resources have been proven effective by other TCCTA Campus Representatives, but feel free to pick and choose what works best for you.

Your direct TCCTA State Office contact will be Ashlee Wigham, awigham@tccta.org

Getting Started

Here are some great ways to get ready for your recruitment campaign!

  • Personally greet your new colleagues
  • Get on the agenda at the first faculty convocation to do a brief presentation about TCCTA. If you can, you may want to use one of TCCTA’s Power Point presentation:

TCCTA Professional Development

Staying connected to your colleagues and friends and sharing in affordable, high quality professional development for teachers and administrators are among TCCTA’s most important benefits.

  • TCCTA Faculty Fellows: Specifically designed for new faculty — in their first five years at their institution — who have demonstrated potential to be strong and engaged leaders.
  • Faculty Leaders Conference
  • Annual Convention: It’s our biggest event of the year with over 80 colleges and 150+ programs. A TCCTA Convention badge is your all-access pass to the best classroom pedagogy and technology, community college specific exhibitors, nationally renowned speakers, and a state-wide network of peers and education partners.
  • Leading From the Middle: Designed specifically for mid-level administrators at Texas two-year colleges. Who among us doesn’t need more support in the areas of student success, SACSCOC accreditation, legal issues, and more.

Support from Veteran TCCTA Reps
