Rick has spent the past 23 years in education. He has been a teacher, principal, and regional specialist supporting over 70 school districts and 600 campuses. He is currently an Administrative Specialist for a regional education service center in Texas. Rick has coached and trained education leaders at various levels, worked with implementing data systems in education, and is an accomplished speaker, including a recent TEDx Talk. Rick also conceived, developed, and orchestrated the first Data Symposium for the service center, which was highly successful.


AI-Driven Decision Making in Academic Leadership


Rick Kutcher will explore the transformative potential of AI-driven decision-making in academic leadership, focusing on leveraging data analytics and AI tools to enhance educational outcomes. He’ll address the role of data analytics in informed decision-making, discuss AI's application in curriculum development and assessment, highlighting benefits such as personalized learning and fair assessments, as well as cover strategies for overcoming implementation challenges. Finally, Rick will call on academic leaders to embrace AI and data analytics to advance educational leadership and foster innovation—because in this educational reality, AI might be the superpower we've been waiting for.
