TCCTA’s 76th Annual Convention will be here before we know it! Here is just a glimpse of some sessions you can attend related to the Arts, Graphic Arts, and Media discipline:

  • Friday, March 3rd at 9:00-10:00am: “Great Ideas for Teaching Students (GIFTS)” or “Social Security and Retirement”
  • Friday, March 3rd at 11:30am-12:30pm: “Meaningful Doodles: Combining the Power of Images and Words in Note-Taking to Improve Learning and Memory,” Mileah Hall, Assistant Professor of Art, Northeast Texas Community College

  • Saturday, March 4th at 9:00am-10:00am: “Not Your Mother’s Rebrand: Creating Logos and Brand Designs Using Adobe Illustrator,” Daniel Sanchez, Adjunct Instructor of Art, Northeast Texas Community College
  • Saturday, March 4th at 10:15am-11:15am: “Cultivating Positivity on Campus: How to Initiate a Positive Thinking Movement at Your College from Scratch,” Cindy Dalmolin, Instructor of Psychology and Sociology, Alvin Community College; Derek de la Peña, Instructor of Psychology, Wharton County Junior College; and Jennifer Shimek, Instructor of Psychology, Alvin Community College
