General Session, January 27th

The session will feature presentations of programs on campuses that are achieving results today in preparing students to perform successfully in college. As the Coordinating Board and Legislature consider new approaches designed to enhance productivity and student performance, it is imperative to provide a showcase for “best practices” that are succeeding presently at the campus level. These programs show promise for other two-year colleges—and encourage high standards and academic integrity.

Faculty members are invited Friday afternoon, between 1:00-5:15 p.m. to learn first hand about these impressive initiatives during a series of success seminars. These sessions will enable attendees to return to campuses all over Texas to share the results and bring successful new strategies to their institutions. {More about success sessions}

2011 Convention Registration Information

All 2010-11 members will be automatically registered for the convention. Fees will be paid upon arrival. There is no "advance" fee payment or pre-registration.

The TCCTA Executive Committee has established the following schedule of registration fees for the 2011 convention:

Professional, Associate, Student, and Unaffiliated Members - $75.00

Immediate Family of Registered Members - No Charge
(provided the guests are not themselves eligible for professional membership)

Guests of the Association/Program Speakers - No Charge
(not eligible for professional membership)

Representatives of Exhibitors - No Charge
(not eligible for professional membership)

All Others - $120.00
